Bio

Lekan was born in the Western region of Nigeria in the 1960’s and graduated with a degree in Fine Art from the Federal Polytechnic Auchi, in Edo State. Via his paintings, Lekan delivers a meticulous orchestration of colour and simplicity that brings a unique harmony in his works.

He practices consistently as a full time studio artist and has exhibited extensively in Europe, Africa and America. Over the years, his works have become extremely collectable and regularly feature at International Auctions

He is a member of the Society of Nigerian Artists (SNA) and Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) London.
